A version of chemotaxis based mathematical model of the concentric sclerosis -- an inflammatory demyelinating disease -- studied in [\textit{V. Calvez} and \textit{R. H. Khonsari}, Math. Comput. Modelling 47, No. 7--8, 726--742 (2008; Zbl 1134.92019)] is considered. The model consists of three parabolic equations for the evolution of concentrations of macrophages, chemoattractant and oligodendrocytes. Local solutions are constructed, their uniform boundedness and stability properties are shown.
