Let \(\Omega=(0,\infty)^{E_d}\), where \(E_d=\lbrace\{x,y\}\in \mathbb Z^d\times \mathbb Z^d: |x-y|=1\rbrace,\) and for \(\omega\in \Omega\) is defined the weight at a particular edge \(e \in E_d\) by \(\omega(e),\) which also is referred to as the conductance on an edge \(e.\) The random conductance model (RCM) is defined as follows: for a given \(\omega\in \Omega\) it is considered the continuous time Markov chain \(X = \{X_t: t\geq 0\}\) on \(\mathbb Z^d\) with generator \[(L^{\omega}f)(x) =\frac{1}{\mu^{\omega}(x)}\sum_{y\sim x}\omega(x,y)(f(x)-f(y)),\] where \(\mu^{\omega}(x):=\sum_{y\sim x}\omega(x,y).\) The authors consider the random conductance model on \(\mathbb Z^d\) with ergodic, unbounded conductances and prove a Gaussian lower bound on the heat kernel given a polynomial moment condition and some additional assumptions on the correlations of the conductances. The proof is based on the well-established chaining technique. It is obtained via bounds on the Green's function.
