Say that a sequence of operators \(\{T_n\}\) tends to the operator \(T\) in norm resolvent sense, if for some \(z\in C\backslash R\), \[ \|(zI-T_n)^{-1}-(zI-T)^{-1}\|\rightarrow0,\ n\rightarrow \infty . \] Norm resolvent estimates for the difference of resolvents of operators and their discrete counterparts, embedding into the continuum using biorthogonal Riesz sequences are established. The operators are a sum of a Fourier multiplier and a multiplicative potential. The Fourier multiplier include the fractional Laplasian and the pseudo-relativistic free Hamiltonian. The Fourier multiplier are defined using the Fourier transform on \(L^2(R^d)\) and on \(l^2(hZ^d)\), where \(hZ^d\) is lattices with mesh size \(h>0\). Moreover, it is shown that the Hausdorff distance between the spectra of the resolvents of the continuous and discrete operators decays with the same rate in the mesh size as for the norm resolvent estimates.
