The problem of rationality of general Fano fourfolds is today an open problem and, in particular, no examples of cubic fourfolds and Gushel-Mukai fourfolds (complex smooth prime Fano fourfolds of degree 10 and genus 6) are known to be irrational. The main goal of this paper is the construction of new rational Gushel-Mukai fourfolds. The author finds the explicit equations and the parameterizations of these new fourfolds, by using mainly the packages SpecialFanoFourfolds and Cremona, of the Macaulay2 Software. Examples and tables summarizing the information are also provided.
