The authors construct normalized differentials on the spectral curve associated with the sinh-Gordon equation on the torus: \[ u_{tt}-u_{xx}=-\sinh u,\quad x \in \mathbb{T}=\mathbb{R}/\mathbb{Z},\quad t\in \mathbb{R}, \] where \(u\) is assumed to be complex valued. Estimates for the location of their zeroes, needed for the construction of angle variables, are obtained. The spectral curve is defined in terms of the spectrum of the Lax operator appearing in the Lax pair of the equation. If the spectrum is simple, it is an open Riemann surface of infinite genus.
