This is volume 2 of a basic book on linear and nonlinear circuits for undergraduate electrical engineering students. As before, it is structured with parts and chapters, and each part is divided into two chapters: one in basic level and the other in advanced level. This volume has three parts and six chapters. Following volume 1 (see Zbl 1492.94001), volume 2 Part V is on the formulation of first-order dynamical circuits with basic concepts on two-terminal linear elements with memory and first-order linear circuits, and with advanced concepts on first-order nonlinear circuits by showing that even though it may not easily to find a closed analytic solution, we can still discover important information about the general properties of the solutions. Part VI generalizes the above concepts to higher-order circuits, and with basic concepts on linear 2-ports and higher-order linear circuits, and with advanced concepts on higher-order nonlinear circuits and their state equations. Finally, Part VII is focused on the analysis of periodic solutions for circuits exhibiting persistent oscillations with basic concepts on so-called sinusoidal steady state, and with advance concepts on nonlinear oscillators. As in volume 1, at the end of each chapter, there are a number of problems, the solutions of which are given at the end of the book.
