Moment functions and exponential monomials on commutative hypergroups (Q2055267)

In [Result. Math. 76, No. 4, Paper No. 171, 16 p. (2021; Zbl 07380206)] the authors of this paper described generalized moment functions on commutative groups using Bell polynomials, even in the higher rank case. In fact, the notion of exponential monomials is not easy to handle, compared to that of generalized moment functions: the functional equations characterizing generalized moment functions are more manageable than those for exponential monomials. In the present paper they begin the study of moment functions and exponential monomials on commutative hypergroups. They provide some examples and results.
