In this paper the global \(C^{2,\alpha}\) and \(W^{2,p}\) regularity of convex solutions to the Monge-Ampère equation \[ \det D^2u=f \quad \text{in }\Omega \] with boundary condition \(Du(\Omega)=\Omega^*\) is established. Here \(\Omega\), \(\Omega^*\) are bounded convex domains in the Euclidean space \(\mathbb{R}^n\) with \(C^{1,1}\) boundary, and \(f\in C^{\alpha}(\overline{\Omega})\) is a given positive function for some \(\alpha\in(0,1)\). The following \(C^{2,\alpha}\) regularity result is proved. If \(u\) is a convex solution, then \[ \Vert u \Vert_{C^{2,\alpha}(\overline{\Omega})} \leq C \] for some positive constant \(C\), which depends only on \(n\), \(\alpha\), \(f\), \(\Omega\) and \(\Omega^*\). When \(\Omega\) and \(\Omega^*\) are uniformly convex with \(C^{2}\) boundary, the global \(C^{2,\alpha}\) regularity was established by \textit{L. A. Caffarelli} [Ann. Math. (2) 144, No. 3, 453--496 (1996; Zbl 0916.35016)]. This paper reduces the convexity and smoothness assumptions about \(\Omega\) and \(\Omega^*\). One can see from the paper that this improvement is based on a uniform obliqueness result, which needs completely new techniques. These techniques can also apply to other related problems. The global \(W^{2,p}\) regularity has the same improvement.
