The auhtor considers a slowly and periodically oscillating system described by a singularly perturbed nonlinear ordinary differential equation \[ \varepsilon^2\frac{d^2x}{dt^2} = f(t,x), \quad 0<\varepsilon\ll1, \] where \(f\) is a \(C^1\) function which is \(2\pi\)-periodic and even in its first variable. The goal of this paper is to give sufficient conditions for the existence of periodic solutions for equation above. The main results are summarized in Theorems 2.1-2.3 and proved by using phase-plane analysis and another tools of singular perturbation theory. In Theorem 2.1, the existence of a solution near the center of oscillation \(c(t)\) is proved. Theorem 2.2 completes the results stated in the previously published works about existence of rapidly oscillating periodic solution. Theorem 2.3 states the existence of periodic and symmetric trajectories connecting hyperbolic invariant manifolds for differential systems with slowly varying phase plane.
