    Uncertain stochastic Markovian jump systems are considered. A linear sliding surface design is presented based on an observer such that exponential stability of the closed loop system is obtained by an adaptive reaching motion controller. Almost sure finite-time reachability is proved, and conditions for exponential stability in the mean square sense on the sliding manifold are obtained. The case of partly unknown transition rates is also considered. Two examples are presented.
