In this paper it is investigated the one-dimensional nonlinear weighted boundary value problem \begin{align*} -u^{\prime\prime}-\mu u&= \lambda m(x)u-a(x) u^2,\quad x\in (0, 1),\\ u(0)=u(1)&= 0, \end{align*} where \(a, m\in \mathcal{C}([0, 1])\) change sign in \((0, 1)\), \(\lambda, \mu \in \mathbb{R}\) are bifurcation parameters. The authors investigate the structures of solutions changing sign, called nodal solutions. In the paper there are studied some global properties of the eigencurves and in some special cases their concavities are investigated. They derive some global bifurcation diagrams of the nodal solutions of the considered problem. The authors propose numerical schemes used to get the global bifurcation diagrams of the nodal solutions.
