In this paper, the author examines a question related to the local Gan-Gross-Prasad (GGP) conjecture, in the case of unitary groups. The local GGP conjecture considers the restriction problem for representations of a classical group, associated to a generic Langlands parameter. The author instead considers examples of non-generic Langlands parameters, and shows that similar GGP phenomenon can occur in these cases. This result builds on prior work of the author who considered non-generic cases, in the setting of rank 2 unitary groups. This current paper can be seen as an extension to arbitrary rank unitary groups.
