The study of resolutions for smooth complex representations of the general linear group over a local field was done by Peter Schneider and Ulrich Stuhler. More precisely, to such a representation they attached the coefficient systems on the Bruhat-Tits building \(BT\) of group which give rise to resolution of a representation. In this paper, an analogous definition of the coefficient system is given for locally analytic representations of \(\mathrm{GL}_2(F)\), where \(F\) is a finite extension of \(\mathbb{Q}_p\). Furthermore, it is shown that they give rise to resolutions if the representation is a locally analytic principal series representation. The variation in the definition of the coefficient system is made by replacement of the \(k^{\text{th}}\) principal congruence subgroup of the stabilizer of a vertex in \(BT\) by the rigid analytic subgroup of the analytification \(\mathrm{GL}_2^{\text{rig}}\) of the algebraic group \(\mathrm{GL}_2(F)\). After explicitly defining the chain complex associated to this coefficient system on \(BT\), the rest of the paper deals with the proof of its exactness. The key role in the proofs is played by the sets of vertices and edges with bounded distance from the distinguished vertex \(v_0\).
