Classification of congruences of twisted partition monoids (Q2065942)

Here, a complete description of congruences on the twisted partition monoid \({\mathcal P}_n^\Phi \) is obtained -- an infinite monoid created from the classical finite partition monoid \({{\mathcal P}_n}\) by also considering the number of floating components which appear when multiplying partitions. It is shown, that congruences on the twisted partition monoid \({\mathcal P}_n^\Phi \) fall into two classes which are described using a sequence of congruences on the additive monoid on natural numbers \(\mathbb{N}\) and a certain \((n + 1) \times \mathbb{N}\) matrix.
