Let \(A\) and \(B\) be two subsets of the positive integers. \textit{G. E. Andrews} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 20, 499--502 (1969; Zbl 0186.30301)] called \((A,B)\) an Euler pair whenever \(q(A;n)=p(B;n)\) for all positive integers \(n\), where \(q(S;n)\) denotes the number of partitions of \(n\) into distinct parts taken from \(S\) and \(p(S;n)\) denotes the number of partitions of \(n\) into parts taken from \(S\). Inspired by that paper, the authors look at one of the identities given by \textit{S. Capparelli} [Commun. Algebra 23, No. 8, 2959--2969 (1995; Zbl 0830.17012)]. They study the bijection provided by \textit{K. Alladi} et al. [J. Algebra 174, No. 2, 636--658 (1995; Zbl 0830.05005)] and find new sets of partitions that can be set into a bijection using the same approach. The authors obtain an analytical identity of Rogers-Ramanujan type that generalize the first Capparelli identity and include it as a particular case.
