The present paper is devoted to the Borel-Bernstein theorem for complex Hurwitz continued fractions and to a complex version of Khinchin's theorem on Diophantine approximations. In a brief survey of this research, the special attention is given to the Borel-Bernstein theorem, complex continued fractions, and Khinchintype results, etc. The notion of Hurwitz continued fractions is recalled and is explained. The possibly finite sequence of Gaussian integers is described. Several properties of Hurwitz continued fractions including a complex analogue of the usual Gauss map, are considered.
