In a recent paper \textit{D. Jetchev} et al. [Camb. J. Math. 5, No. 3, 369--434 (2017; Zbl 1401.11103)] proved a BSD formula at a prime p for a class of elliptic curves \(E/\mathbb{Q}\) of analytic rank 1. The author proves an analogous statement where \(E\) is replaced by a modular form of weight larger than 2. More precisely, let \(p\) be a prime number, let \(f\) be a new form of even weight higher than 2 with Galois representation \(V\) and Galois-stable lattice \(T\). Let \(W=V/T\) and \(K\) an imaginary quadratic number field in which \(p\) splits. The author shows that under a series of conditions that the \(p\)-index of the Tate-Shafarevich group of \(W\) with respect to the Galois group of \(K\) equals twice the \(p\)-index of a logarithm of the Abel-Jacobi map of a certain Heegner cycle.
