For an \(n\)-dimensional weighted Riemannian manifold \((M,g,f)\), \textit{Y. Lu} et al. [Anal. Geom. Metr. Spaces 10, 1--30 (2022; Zbl 1493.53098)] introduced the notion of a lower \(N\)-weighted Ricci curvature bound with \(\epsilon\)-range. Under such conditions, a diameter bound of Bonnet-Myers type and a volume bound of Bishop-Gromov type under density bounds have been derived. This paper examines rigidity phenomena in the equality case of comparison theorems under this curvature condition. In particular, the authors prove a Laplacian comparison which is a generalization of that obtained by Lu et al. [loc. cit.]. Moreover, a generalization of the maximal diameter theorems and the volume comparisons have been investigated under this curvature restriction.
