It is well known that a partition of a positive integer \(n\) is defined as a non-increasing sequence of positive integers whose sum is \(n\). An overpartition of \(n\) is a partition of \(n\) in which the first occurrence of a number may be overlined. There are many interesting papers in the literature into this direction including Ramanujan's great works. Let \(\bar{A}_{\ell}(n)\) be the number of overpartitions of \(n\) into parts not divisible by \(\ell\) and it is so-called ''\(\ell\)-regular overpartition''. There are exactly \(4\) main results in the paper under review on \(\ell\)-regular overpartitions. As a first result, set \(\ell:=p_1^{a_1}p_2^{a_2}\dots p_n^{a_n}\) where \(p_i\)'s are primes greater than \(3\) for \(i=1,2, \dots, n\). If \(p_i^{2a_i} \geq \ell\) for \(i=1,2, \dots, n\) then in the paper under review, the authors show that \(\bar{A}_{\ell}(n)\) is almost always divisible by \(p_i^j\). As a second result they give a Ramanujan-type congruence for \(\bar{A_7}\). More precisely, the prove that \[ \bar{A_7}(16n+4) \equiv 0 \pmod 7 .\] The third contribution of the paper is related with infinite families of congruences for \(\bar{A_5}\). The final main result is about multiplicative formulae for \(\bar{A_5}(n)\) modulo \(8\). Proofs are crucial usage of Dedekind-eta quotients and based on some modular forms techniques and they use Mathematica and Sage for computations.
