\textit{M. Kashiwara} and \textit{P. Schapira} [Ind-sheaves. Paris: Société Mathématique de France (2001; Zbl 0993.32009)] introduced the subanalytic topology on a real analytic manifold \(M\) thus obtaining the subanalytic site \(M_{sa}\) where several natural subanalytic sheaves live sharing a common feature of \textit{tempered growth}. If one deals with a complex manifold \(X\), the two authors introduced on \(X_{sa}\) the ``sheaf'' of tempered holomorphic functions, here denoted by \(\mathcal{O}^{tp}_{X_{sa}}\). The term \textit{sheaf} is abusively however comfortably used since the latter is no longer a sheaf in general (for \(d_X=1\) it is a sheaf) but an object of the derived category. Here the author gives a simple proof of the classical and useful result which can be stated as the vanishing of the cohomology of \(\mathcal{O}^{tp}_{X_{sa}}\) on subanalytic relatively compact Stein open subsets of \(X\).
