Let \[ c_0\left(\frac{r}{b}\right)=-\sum_{m=1}^{b-1}\frac{m}{b}\cot\left(\frac{\pi mr}{b}\right). \] In this paper the authors obtain lower bounds for \(\max|c_0\left(\frac{r}{b}\right)|\) where (i) the numerator \(r\) is restricted to the sequence of prime numbers, and (ii) fractions \(\frac{r}{b}\) simultaneously varying the numerator \(r\) and the denominator \(b\).
