A 3-D barotropic compressible Navier-Stokes system with Coriolis force it is studied at a constant temperature. The equations are depending on the 3 known dimensionless numbers: Rayleigh, Mach, Rossby denoted by \(Ra, Ma, Ro\). The relation between \(Ro\) and the Coriolis force is carefully explained, according to Taylor-Proudman theorem. The particular case \( Ma = \epsilon^{\alpha}, \,\,Ro = \epsilon\) is considered. Some previous results exists for \(\alpha \geq 1\) (with some restrictions). The new element of the paper is the study of the case \(\alpha \in [0,1)\), that means ``the fast rotation is the predominant effect in the flow dynamics''. A large bulk viscosity is considered and the asymptotic limit for small \(\epsilon\) is studied, in the context of weak solutions. Some elements fo the paper [\textit{R. Danchin} and \textit{P. B. Mucha}, Adv. Math. 320, 904--925 (2017; Zbl 1384.35058)] and some compensated compactness arguments are used. A carefully analysis leads to an incompressible Navier-Stokes type limit equation, containing a new term. Important tools are: the Littlewood-Paley theory, Plancherel theorem, paradifferential calculus, the linear heat equation decay in time (in suitable norms), Bienaymé-Chebyshev inequality. It is a very interesting paper, with important applications in the study of geophysical flows.
