The author follows a circle of ideas initiated by \textit{N. Nekrasov} and \textit{A. Okounkov} [Algebr. Geom. 3, No. 3, 320--369 (2016; Zbl 1369.14069)] in string theory, which gives an interpretation of \(K\)-theoretic Donaldson-Thomas invariants as the M2-brane index in M-theory backgrounds which are circle fibrations over a smooth Calabi-Yau threefold. The idea of Nekrasov-Okounkov is to replace the smooth Calabi-Yau threefold with an ambient Calabi-Yau fivefold. Computing the index of the membrane is equivalent to enumerating suersymmetry protected states with certain quantum numbers. In this paper, the author studies the particular case of \(K\)-theoretic DT invariants defined on non-commutative crepant resolutions of Calabi-Yau singularities. These invariants are computed as virtual virtual enumerations on suitable moduli spaces of quiver representations. In other words, they can be seen as Hilbert schemes of points on the quotient stacks \([\mathbb{C}^3/G]\), where \(G\) is a finite subgroup of \(\mathrm{SL}(3;\mathbb{C})\). In this context, the authors provides full conjectural formulas for the DT invariants studied and developes a vertex formalism which can be implemented to performs computations in the toric settings.
