Carleman estimate for complex second order elliptic operators with discontinuous Lipschitz coefficients (Q2080319)

Summary: In this paper, we derive a local Carleman estimate for the complex second order elliptic operator with Lipschitz coefficients having jump discontinuities. Combing the result by \textit{M. Bellassoued} and \textit{J. Le Rousseau} [J. Math. Pures Appl. (9) 115, 127--186 (2018; Zbl 1391.35130)] and the arguments by \textit{M. Di Cristo} et al. [J. Math. Pures Appl. (9) 108, No. 2, 163--206 (2017; Zbl 1376.35020)], we present an elementary method to derive the Carleman estimate under the optimal regularity assumption on the coefficients.
