    The authors use methods from the theory of uniform algebras, to give a simple proof of an approximation result of the reviewer and \textit{A. Tikaradze} [Rend. Circ. Mat. Palermo (2) 68, No. 2, 237--246 (2019; Zbl 1446.46034)]. They also fix a mistake in the paper. Let \(\Omega\) be a domain in \(\mathbb{C}^n\) and \(f : \Omega \to \mathbb{C}^m\) be holomorphic. Then \(\Omega_{f,\lambda}\) denotes the set of all nonisolated points of \(f^{-1}(\lambda)\) and \(\Omega_f = \bigcup_{\lambda\in \mathbb{C}^m} \Omega_{f,\lambda}\). The authors mainly prove the following theorem. Theorem 3. Let \(\Omega\) be a bounded open set in \(\mathbb{C}^n\) such that \(\Omega\) is open in maximal ideal space of \(H^{\infty}(\Omega)\) and \(f_j \in H^{\infty}(\Omega)\) for \(j = 1, \dots , m\). Assume that \(g \in C(\overline{\Omega})\) such that \(g= 0\) on \(b\Omega\cup \Omega_f\) where \(f = ( f_1 ,\dots , f_m )\). Then \(g\in H^{\infty}(\Omega)[ \bar{f}_1,\ldots , \bar{f}_m]\).
