A functional equation with biadditive functions (Q2081356)

Let \(X\) and \(Y\) be two inner product spaces over the same field. Let \(f:X\to Y\) and \(g:X\to X\) be two unknown functions. \textit{R. Łukasik} [Miskolc Math. Notes 18, No. 2, 953--960 (2017; Zbl 1399.39054)] described the solution of the following equation \[ \langle f(x), f(y)\rangle=\langle g(x), y\rangle,\quad x,y\in X. \] Let \(S, H\) and \(X\) be groups, let \(A: S^2 \to X\) and \(B: H^2 \to X\) be biadditive functions, and let \(T:S\to H\) and \(g:S\to S\) be two unknown functions. In this paper, the author generalizes the above equation and studies \[ B(T(x), T(y))=A(x, g(y)),\quad x,y\in S. \]
