The notion of O-operator family is introduced: it is a family of operators \(T_\alpha:M\longrightarrow A\) indexed by a semigroup, where \(A\) is an associative algebra and \(M\) a bimodule over \(A\), satisfying \[ T_\alpha(u)T_\beta(v)=T_{\alpha\beta}(T_\alpha(u)v+uT_\beta(v)). \] This includes Rota-Baxter families, when \(A=M\). Examples of O-operators families are provided with two different generalizations of the Yang-Baxter equation. A twisted version of O-operator families objects is also defined, needing a Hochschild 2-cocycle of the algebra \(A\) taking its values in \(M\). It is shown that they are related to twisted NS-algebras. The theory of deformation of twisted O-operators families of twisted NS-algebras is studied, with the construction of the suitable cohomologies.
