This paper studies the multinomial tiling model, where \(N=\{N_v\}_{v\in\mathcal{G}}\) is nonnegative integers associated to vertices of a finite graph \(\mathcal{G}\). Let \(\mathcal{G}_N\) be the \(N\)-fold blowup of \(\mathcal{G}\) and tilings of \(\mathcal{G}_N\) with lifts of copies of tiles is the topic of the paper. Let \(\Omega(N)\) be the set of all tilings and an \(N\)-fold tiling \(m\) is assigned a weight \(w(m)=\prod_{t}w_t^{m(t)}\), where \(m(t)\) is the number of copies of \(t\) used. The partition function for \(N\)-fold tilings is defined as \(Z(w,N)=\sum_{m\in\Omega(N)}w(m)\). The paper derives a generating function for \(Z(w,N)\) and provides the asymptotic growth rate of \(Z(w,N)\) as \(\min_{v\in\mathcal{G}}N_v\rightarrow\infty\). It is shown that in the limit of \(N\rightarrow\infty\), the tile occupation fractions tend to a Gaussian field governed by a discrete Laplacian operator \(\Delta\) on \(\mathcal{G}\), which is called the tiling Laplacian.
