The paper addresses the numerical solution of the Klein-Gordon-Schrödinger system. The author first transforms the system to the first-order system in time and then proposes a novel class of the first- and second-order exponential-type integrators that are efficient both for slowly varying solutions in the relativistic regime and highly oscillatory solutions in the non-relativistic regime. The author studies the first- and second-order methods in detail and proves that the methods are asymptotically consistent and converge uniformly without restrictions on time step size for both small and large values of the parameter \(c\) characterizing the system. Numerical experiments verifying first- and second-order convergence of the proposed methods are presented.
