A Keller-Segel type system has been proposed to model the invasion of metastatic cancer cells in the extracellular matrix with a network of fibers. Mathematically, this leads to a coupled system of 3D and 1D chemotaxis type equations. The multiscale dynamics of the process is numerically studied on examples of simple fiber networks. A discussion of results in light of biological evidence is provided.
