This work presents numerical studies of the dynamics of coupled networks of a discrete time neural model known as the \(m\)-Rulkov model. The paper considers two types of coupling, of `electrical' and `chemical' types. A pair of coupled neurons, and a ring of \(100\) coupled neurons are studied, and various patterns of firing are revealed, depending on the parameters: synchronization, lagged-phase synchronization, amplitude death, non-stationary chimera states, and traveling chimera states.
