A hypersurface \(M\) is called biconservative if it satisfies the equation \[ 2A(\mathrm{grad}H)+nH\mathrm{grad}H=0, \] where \(A\) is the shape operator and \(H\) is the mean curvature of \(M\). \newline In this paper, the authors investigate biconservative hypersurfaces \(M^n\) in space forms \(M^{n+1}(c)\) with at most four distinct principal curvatures whose second fundamental form has constant norm. To show their findings they use some results from the book [Elementary algebraic geometry. New York - Heidelberg - Berlin: Springer-Verlag (1977; Zbl 0364.14001)] by \textit{K. Kendig}. By doing a series of detailed computations for different number of distinct principal curvatures, four, three and two, they prove that \(M\) has constant mean curvature and also, constant scalar curvature.
