A beautiful identity due to \textit{P. Kesava Menon} from 1965 [J. Indian Math. Soc., New Ser. 29, 155--163 (1965; Zbl 0144.27706)] has been generalized in multiple ways over the years. The generalizations have involved either the introduction of Dirichlet characters or of more general totient functions like the Jordan function. In the present paper, the authors consider analogues of the Möbius and Euler functions in the ring of integers of a number field, and for Dirichlet characters modulo ideals, they prove certain identities. As special cases over \(\mathbb{Q}\), this yields some of the earlier identities obtained by others.
