      Let \((M, g)\) be a \(d\)-dimensional homogeneous Cartan-Hadamard manifold with \(d \geq 3\). Under consideration is the problem \[ -\Delta _g w + w = \lambda \alpha(\sigma) f(w),\ w \in H^1_g(M),\ \tag{1} \] where \(-\Delta_g \) denotes the Laplace-Beltrami operator, \(\alpha\in L_1(M) \cap L_\infty(M) \setminus {0}\) is nonnegative, \(f : {\mathbb R} \to {\mathbb R}\) is a continuous function and \(\lambda > 0\) is a real parameter. Under certain conditions on the functions \(f,\alpha\), it is proven that there exist infinitely many nonnegative nontrivial solutions which have an oscillating behavior either at zero or at infinity. In particular, there exists a sequence \(w_j\) of nontrivial nonnegative solutions to the problem (1) such that \(\|w_j\|_{L_\infty(M)}\to 0\) as \(j\to \infty\).
