Let \(K\) be a field and \(S:=K[x_1,\ldots,x_n]\) be the polynomial ring in \(n\) variables over \(K.\) A monomial \(u=x_{i_1}\ldots x_{i_d}\) is called \(t\)-spread, where \(t\geq 0\) is an integer, if \(i_{j+1}-i_j\geq t,\) for all \(j=1,\ldots,d-1.\) A monomial ideal generated by \(t\)-spread monomials is called a \(t\)-spread ideal. The aim of the paper is to determine the minimal primary decomposition of completely \(t\)-spread lexsegment ideals and some algebraic invariants of such ideals. Thus, the Krull dimension, the projective dimension and the depth of \(S/I\) are computed, when \(I\) is an initial or a final \(t\)-spread lexsegmant ideal. Consequently, Cohen-Macaulay \(t\)-spread lexsegment ideals are classified. Finally, some open questions are considered.
