The author computes an analytic torsion associated to the Rumin complex for flat vector bundles over odd-dimensional lens spaces, extending a previous computation for spheres. The analytic torsion considered by the author is not exactly the one defined by \textit{M. Rumin} and \textit{N. Seshadri} [Ann. Inst. Fourier 62, No. 2, 727--782 (2012; Zbl 1264.58027)], it differs from it by a local term as shown by \textit{P. Albin} and \textit{H. Quan} [Int. Math. Res. Not. 2022, No. 8, 5818--5881 (2022; Zbl 1487.58020)], (Eq. 7.1). Albin and Quan also showed that the difference between the Rumin-Seshadri torsion and the Ray-Singer analytic torsion is a local term (Corollary 3). The result obtained here is very similar to the values obtained classically by \textit{W. Franz} [J. Reine Angew. Math. 173, 245--254 (1935; JFM 61.1350.01)] and \textit{D. B. Ray} [Adv. Math. 4, 109--126 (1970; Zbl 0204.23804)], which were shown to both describe the Franz-Reidemeister torsion by Cheeger and Müller.
