The Hausdorff measure of fractals with respect to their dimension is difficult to estimate. In this paper an upper bound on the Hausdorff measure of the classical Sierpinski gasket from [\textit{Z. Zhou}, Prog. Nat. Sci. 7, No. 4, 401--406 (1997; Zbl 0968.28002)] is generalized to level-\(N\) Sierpinski gaskets.
