The paper has a multidisciplinary concept. Graphs with asymmetric weights are until now much less studied than graphs with symmetric weights. However, they are equally, if not even more, interesting and important. They can be considered as the natural one-dimensional CW-complex versions of Finsler manifolds, and they are also attracting examples of asymmetric metric spaces in the sense of \textit{H. Busemann} [Recent synthetic differential geometry. Springer-Verlag, Berlin (1970; Zbl 0194.53701)]. He studied the large-scale geometry of infinite asymmetrically weighted graphs by considering the boundary, the hyperbolicity, and the Morse property. Most of this research is done in the general framework of slim asymmetric metric spaces. The author proves among other things that any asymmetrically weighted tree has the Morse property which is a well-known result in the special symmetric case. Also, it is noted that lots of these trees have infinite reversibility and cannot be quasi-isometrically embedded into any metric space. The paper uses geometry as well as analysis. Many interesting avenues are available in this article.
