In this interesting paper, the author extends several classical results, known in the case of Banach spaces (to a large extent due to the contributions, spread over half a century, by the author and his collaborators) to topological vector spaces \(X\). Removing even the assumption of local convexity is a non-trivial achievement. For example, for LCTVS \(X\), \(c_0(X)\) is uncomplemented in \(\ell_\infty(X)\), whereas without the local convexity assumption this is an open problem. Thus an interesting result here is that, for a general \(X\), `if \(X\) has no copy of \(\ell_\infty\), then \(c_0(X)\) is not complemented in \(\ell_\infty(X)\)'.
