The authors studied a class of non-standard growth parabolic equation with Dirichlet boundary condition driven by the \(p(x)\)-Laplace operator with a nonlinear absorption and a nonlocal source. Several qualitative properties of solutions are established. More precisely, existence of weak solutions have been proved using Galerkin's approximation technique. Moreover, sufficient conditions of the variable exponents are provided to ensure global existence and global boundedness, blow-up behaviour, extinction and non-extinction properties of the weak solutions.
