Let \({\mathfrak g}\) be an affine Kac-Moody Lie algebra of type \(A_{2l}^{(2)}\) and \(\widetilde{\mathfrak g}\) be a simple Lie algebra of type \(C_l\) contained in \({\mathfrak g}\). Fix a Cartan subalgebra of \({\mathfrak g}\) and \({\mathfrak b}_-\) a lower-triangular Borel subalgebra of \({\mathfrak g}\). Let \(\widetilde{W}\) be the Weyl group of \(\widetilde{\mathfrak g}\), \(\widetilde{P}\) the integral weight lattice of \(\widetilde{\mathfrak g}\), \(\widetilde{P}_+\) the subset of dominant integral weights and \(\Lambda_0\) be the unique level one dominant integral weight of \({\mathfrak g}\). For \(\mu\in\widetilde{P}\), \({\mathbb D}_\mu\) denotes a level one Demazure module, while for \(\lambda\in\widetilde{P}_+\), \(W(\lambda)\) denotes the Weyl module. One of the main results in the paper under review can be stated as follows. \textbf{Theorem 3.28}: For each \(\lambda\in\widetilde{P}_+\), the global Weyl module \(W(\lambda)\otimes_{\mathbb C}{\mathbb C}_{\Lambda_0}\) has a filtration by Demazure slices and each module \({\mathbb D}^\mu\) appears exactly once (\(\mu\in\widetilde{W}\lambda\)). It is also proved that a global Weyl module of the special current algebra of type \(A_{2l}^{(2)}\) is a free module over a polynomial ring arising a ring of endomorphisms.
