Let \(F\) denote a number field and let \(D\) stand for a quaternion algebra over \(F\). In the paper under the review, the author studies the infinitesimal variant of the Guo-Jacquet trace formula for the pair \((\mathrm{GL}_{2n, D}, \mathrm{GL}_{n,D} \times \mathrm{GL}_{n, D})\). The author provides a geometric expansion which enables one to obtain the infinitesimal variant of Guo-Jacquet trace formula. The obtained formula presents an equality between the geometric developments of the Schwartz-Bruhat function and its Fourier transformation, which are sums of two generally non-equivariant types of distributions. In a regular semi-simple case, the author also expresses obtained distributions in terms of orbital integrals.
