The operator \(\mathcal{H}\) in \(L^2 [0, \infty )\) generated by the expression \[ l := -\frac{d^2}{dx^2} + x + a_1 \delta (x - b_1 ) + a_2\delta (x - b_2 ) \] with Dirichlet boundary condition \(y(0) = 0\), where \(\delta \) denotes the Dirac distribution, \(a_1\), \(a_2\), \(b_1\), \(b_2 \in \mathbb{R}\) are positive with \(b_1< b_2\), is a perturbation of the Airy operator \(\mathcal{H}_0\) given by the expression \(l\) with \(a_1=a_2=0\). The fundamental solution \(\psi(\cdot ,\lambda )\) of \(l\) in \(L^2 [0, \infty )\) is a piecewise linear combination of the Airy functions, and the condition \(\psi(0,\lambda )\) determines the eigenvalues of \(\mathcal{H}\). Based on the asymptotics of the Airy functions, the author proves a formula for the asymptotics of the eigenvalues of \(\mathcal{H}\). Denoting the eigenvalues of \(\mathcal{H}_0\) by \(\lambda _n^0\), \(n=1,2,\dots\), it is also shown that the eigenvalues of \(\mathcal{H}_0\) and \(\mathcal{H}\) interlace when \(b_2\le \lambda _2^ 0-1\), \(a_j<2\sqrt{\lambda _2^0-b_j}\), \(j=1,2\).
