The authors introduce a new concept called vague incidence graph (VIG) to model problems that cannot be expressed by fuzzy graphs (FGs). An advantage is that if an element membership is uncertain then the choice of neutrality is safe and this aspect is taken care off by a vague incidence graph (VIG). In this new attempt, drawbacks and limitations faced in the concept of connectivity is tackled through (VIGs). So the authors propose a matrix form for VIG. They also defined vague incidence subgraph (VISG) with several attributes such as incidence pairs, paths, and connectivities between pairs. They apply this concept to an educational institution and endeavored to find the most performing person according to its performance by presenting an application.
