Distortion and critical values of the finite Blaschke product (Q2120585)

Let \(f\) be a finite Blaschke product of degree \(n\geq 2\) in the unit disc whose critical values lie in the disk \(|w| \leq\lambda\), for some \( 0 <\lambda< 1\). The author obtains a sharp upper bound for the absolute value of the derivative \(f'\) at any point of the disk. The proof is based on a symmetrization method developed by the author in [Sb. Math. 206, No. 1, 61--86 (2015); translation from Mat. Sb. 206, No. 1, 69--96 (2015; Zbl 1321.31002)]. The author also presents some corollaries of this result which are of independent interest.
