The volume spectrum \(\{\omega_p(M)\}_{p=1}^{\infty}\) of a compact Riemannian manifold \(M\) was catching a lot of attention after \textit{F. C. Marques} and \textit{A. Neves}'s work on one of Yau's conjectures [Invent. Math. 209, No. 2, 577--616 (2017; Zbl 1390.53064)]. Letting \(B^2\subset \mathbb{R}^2\) be the unit closed ball (unit disk) and \(E^2\) be a full ellipse \(C^{\infty}\)-close to \(B^2\) with smaller diameter \(d\) and larger diameter \(D\), the author shows the following main results in the paper: \begin{itemize} \item[(i)] \(\omega_1(B^2)=\omega_2(B^2)=2\); \item[(ii)] \(\omega_3(B^2)=\omega_4(B^2)=4\); \item[(iii)] \(\omega_1(E^2)=d\) and \(\omega_2(E^2)=D\); \item[(iv)] \(\omega_3(E^2)\), \(\omega_4(E^2)\in \{2d, d+D, 2D\}\). \end{itemize}
