In this article, the author gives a short and explicit proof of the main result of [\textit{P. Dimakis} and \textit{G. Yue}, J. Algebr. Comb. 50, No. 1, 49--72 (2019; Zbl 1432.05120)] which asserts that two bijective transformations from the set of partitions of \(n\) to itself coincide when applied to the one-row partition \((n)\). The first transformation is called combinatorial wall-crossing to the left of the wall \(a/b\). It involves compositions of the generalized Mullineux involutions indexed by the terms of the \(n\)-th Farey sequence which are smaller than \(a/b\). The second involves compositions of the so-called generalized column regularizations. At the end of the article, the author proposes a conjecture for the effect of the wall crossing transformation on the sign representation.
