The authors derive necessary conditions on the function \(g(x)\) for the non-existence of solutions, the existence of at least one solution, and the existence of at least two distinct solutions for the following nonlocal problem: \[ L_0 u=f(x,u)+g(x),\qquad x\in\Omega, \] where \(L_0\) is a nonlocal dispersal operator and \(\Omega\) is a bounded domain in \(\mathbb{R}^n\).
