    The authors explicit the solution of the delay-differential equation \[ \dot{x}(t) = A(t)x(t) + \sum_{i=1}^n B_i x(t-\tau_i) + f(t) \] with initial condition \(x|_{[-\tau, 0]} = \varphi\) where \(\tau := \max(\tau_1, \dots, \tau_n)\) for a periodic matrix \(A\). To establish the result, the authors assume in particular that \begin{itemize} \item the union of the set of matrices \(\{A(t)\}_{t \geq 0}\) and \(\{B_i\}_{i =1,\dots, n}\) commute and \item the period of \(A\) is a submultiple of each delay (which are commensurable). \end{itemize} Then, they leverage this result to prove the exponential stability of \[ \dot{x}(t) = A(t)x(t) + \sum_{i=1}^n B_i x(t-\tau_i) + f(x(t), x(t-\tau_1), \dots, x(t-\tau_n)) \] when \(\dot{x}(t) = A(t)x(t)\) is exponentially stable, the matrices \(B_i\) are ``small enough'' with respect to this dynamics (an explicit threshold is given) and \(f(x_0, x_1, \dots, x_n) \to 0\) faster than \(\|(x_0, x_1, \dots, x_n)\|\) when \((x_0, x_1, \dots, x_n) \to 0\). In a distinct thread (in which delays are not necessarily commensurable) they consider the system \begin{align*} & \dot{x}(t) = A(t)x(t) + C(t) u(t) + \\ \varepsilon \sum_{i=1}^n B_i(t) x(t-\tau_i) + \sum_{j=1}^m g_j(x(t), & x(t-\tau_1), \dots, x(t-\tau_n)) u_j \end{align*} Assuming that \(A\) and \(C\) have the same period \(T\), that the \(B_i\) are bounded, that the linear periodic system \(\dot{x}(t) = A(t)x(t) + C(t) u(t)\) is controllable, that \(\varepsilon\) is small enough and that \(g_j(x_0, \dots, x_n)\to 0\) when \((x_0, \dots, x_n) \to 0\), they prove the existence of a \(2T\)-periodic continuous matrix \(Q\) such that \(u(t) := Q(t) x(t)\) stabilizes the system asymptotically, using (and extending) the similar result of Brunovský for linear periodic systems.
