In this paper, the authors extend the definition of one-dimensional Moran set to two-dimensional case, defined by ``self-affine Moran sets''. This extension can also be regarded as a generalization of self-affine fractals since different affine contractions are applied at different levels in the self-affine iterations. However, such sets, different to the classic self-affine set, do not have any dynamical properties anymore, and the tools of ergodic theory cannot be invoked. Therefore it is more difficult to determine their dimensions and other fractal properties. The authors study the dimensions of these sets and give the calculation formulas for the packing dimension, upper and lower box-counting dimension and Assouad dimension of them under the assumption \(\sup N_k<\infty\). They also study the Hausdorff dimension of such sets, and give some sufficient conditions for the Hausdorff dimension formula.
